The development is giving purchasers a rare chance to design their own floor plan before construction progresses further

At Italia, buyers still have a rare chance to design their own home, but not for much longer.

For a limited time, purchasers at the boutique concrete mid-rise can still combine units, rework layouts and create more customized living spaces — an option that sales manager Amy Harper says has become a standout feature of the project in Vancouver’s South Granville neighbourhood.

“Because the floor plate changes frequently throughout the building, we’re able to offer the flexibility to relocate bathrooms, kitchens and make other adjustments,” says Harper. “That gives us an edge over other developments that can’t offer the same level of customization.”

“The views are going to be quite stunning,” says Harper.

A range of one- to three-bedroom homes are available including a junior two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout offering great value starting at $1.3 million. The project has proven especially appealing to professionals and downsizers looking for a more tailored living space.

For buyers looking for a home that reflects how they live, Italia’s customization offering may be its biggest draw — but the opportunity won’t last. With construction advancing, the ability to modify floor plans is expected to close soon.
