The event's host is Burnaby Family Life, a local charity. Proceeds from this fundraising event will go to Burnaby Family Life programs. Since 1971, BFL has provided social support and family education to the most vulnerable people in our community with the goal of promoting healthy families, and curbing emotional and mental distress.
BFL helps expecting and new young mothers at risk, families needing child care, women and children who have experienced abuse, and vulnerable refugees and immigrants who are learning English and settling in the Canadian culture. Our programs provide life-changing services that contribute to a safer, more welcoming and inclusive community.
